Some Old Favorites
I was just looking through some tracks that I had saved a couple of months ago and I came across a couple of beautiful pieces of music that were just fresh out of my memory. I’m glad they forced their was back in. “Hi guys.”
This is a pretty simple remix of a true great. Through a bit of delay and pitch shifting the whole song arrives in a new sorrowful place. Really beautiful.
Minnie Ripperton – Inside my love (ØƑƑ†Π∑ṂÔV∏†∆Î∏ remix)
What’s better than a song by an Tri Angle artist? This:
How To Dress Well – Suicide Dream 2 (Holy Other’s Effervescent Mix)
This track is stunning. Rife with both subtle energy and deep passion. A really great piece of music.
Gold Panda – Marriage (Halls Remix)
Lido Pimienta is one of the most versatile female vocalists I can think of and this is a really interesting take on one of her songs, placing her voice in yet another context. It’s awesome.
Lido Pimienta – Humano Lido Pimienta (Gameboy remix)
Finally, this is the theme from one of my favorite films slowed 1000%. It’s perfect to have on the background. Over the space of nearly an hour this now ambient work explores emotions that could hardly be created in any other way.
John Williams – Jurassic Park Theme (1000% Slower)
Have a good wednesday.
